MARIA ORTIZ

Maria is the newest addition to the Roseville Staff, and is working with the Level 4-5 and Instructional gymnasts. Her previous coaching experience includes working with preschool, instructional and team gymnasts. She was a gymnast for 13 years, spending most of her career at Perpetual Motion Gymnastics. As a club gymnast, Maria qualified to the Level 9 Western Championships, ranking 27th in the All-Around.

Maria is a 2005 graduate of Park Cottage Grove High School. She competed for her high school team, and was a member of the 2003 MSHSL State Championship team. She is now attending Hamline University, majoring in social justice, legal studies and women studies. After graduation, she plans to attend law school.

Maria's hobbies include drawing and painting.
