SHANTELL DOREE

Shantell began gymnastics at age 3, and competed on the Roseville team for 7 years. Carole Fink, our director was her coach throughout her career here! In 1995, Shantell was the first Roseville gymnast to qualify to the Level 10 JO National Championships. She continued with gymnastics throughout college, competing for Iowa State University from 1998-2000. During her career at Iowa State, Shantell was a member of the 2000 Big 12 Championship team. Due to a back injury, Shantell was unable to continue with gymnastics and transferred to the University of Minnesota. In 2000, Shantell began coaching at Roseville Gymnastics.

Shantell is a 1997 graduate of Tartan High School. In 2003, she graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Kinesiology degree, and then obtained her Registered Nursing Degree in 2006. Currently Shantell is working as a nurse at the University of MN Medical Center.
